Juanita is an award winning artist, who has been painting for the past 40 years.  Although having taken many classes and workshops, she is primarily self taught.  Her style is realistic and colorful, subjects are landscapes, seascapes, florals and still life.  One reoccurring comment is "I feel like I could just walk into them.  She has displayed her work at the Allentown Art Festival, Buffalo,  The Lewiston Art Festival, Lewiston,  Sonnenberg Arts at the Gardens,  Rochester Public Market/Artist Row, Riverwalk,Tonawanda.  Letchworth Arts and Crafts,  Keuka Lake Art Festival and The Hilton Apple fest, plus numerous SRAG group shows.  She has been a member of SRAG since 1982 and is currently membership chairperson.  She is also a member of Genesee Plein Air Painters, Yates County Arts Council,and The Arts Center at Old Forge.
